HEAL.THY.SELF PART #1: The Power of Fasting
Fasting, as a healing modality has been around for as long life forms have existed on this planet. Bold statement? Yes, yet take at any animal (and children for that matter) and what they do when they are sick or injured… They stop eating. They Fast. Look at almost any culture in the world and you will also find fasting in some way shape of form too. So it’s not so much about “does fasting work” but more about “How did we come to forget about fasting, and for that matter, the intuitive trends of the body to heal itself, and how do we practise this safely and effectively?”

In this open discussion, let’s chat on what Fasting is, the different types, how to fast, safety considerations and of course, the profound benefits of Fasting!

This is part 1 of a 2 part HEAL.THY.SELF series as I believe there are two main sides to healing - support the Mind and support the Body. You do not need to attend both talks but there will certainly be value in doing so.

Come along and I’d love to share my knowledge and experience on this amazing tool for long-term wellness as well as my own personal journey with fasting including a 28 day juice fast and 16 day water fast that changed my life.
